Special Topics Seminars
Special Topics Seminars enable the department to showcase a variety of interesting topics and speakers from academia and industry.They do not count toward ME 590 requirements.
Taking place each Monday from noon to 1 p.m., the Bio-Interest Group (BIG) Seminars enable scholars from across campus and around the country to present research in the areas of biomechanics, bioengineering, kinesiology, cell mechanics and other relevant areas.
The Fluids Mechanics Seminars take place on Friday from noon to 1 p.m. Leading scholars from universities, national laboratories and other research settings share their work on such topics as turbulence, mixing flows, boundary layers, microcirculation and more.
