Shelby Hutchens - NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award
Yuhang Hu - Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) Young Investigator Research Program Award
Nenad Miljkovic - Office of Naval Research (ONR) Young Investigator Award
SungWoo Nam - Office of Naval Research (ONR) Young Investigator Award; NASA Early Career Faculty Award
Kelly Stephani - Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) Young Investigator Research Program Award

College of Engineering Dean Andreas Cangellaris was on hand to offer his appreciation. “In academia, we do a great job of celebrating our people, so I’m very happy to be here. MechSE knows how to do the three Rs: recruitment, retention, and recognition. Everything we do has to do with those three, so congratulations to all our young faculty.”
